Fume Hood
A Fume Hood is a ventilated laboratory enclosure designed to protect users from harmful chemical fumes, vapors, toxic gases, and hazardous particles during experimental work. It works by continuously pulling room air into the hood and expelling contaminated air through an exhaust system, ensuring the operator and laboratory environment remain safe.
The hood also acts as a physical barrier between the user and chemicals, reducing exposure risks, spills, and fire hazards.
