Biosafety Cabinets (BSCs) are essential for laboratories handling sensitive biological samples. They provide a controlled environment to protect the user, product, and environment from contamination.
Our Class II A2 and Class II B2 cabinets are designed to meet international safety standards, ensuring maximum protection during microbiological and biotechnological processes.
Class II A2
- Recirculates approx. 70% of the air within the cabinet is exhausted, and 30% is filtered through a HEPA filter.
- Ideal for work with low to moderate-risk biological agents (BSL-2 & BSL-3 labs).
- Energy-efficient with reduced ducting requirements.
Class II B2
- 100% exhaust system, no air recirculation
- Recommended for work involving toxic chemicals and volatile compounds, along with biological samples.
- Suitable for high-risk environments requiring absolute containment.
